Rules of Conduct

Guidelines every student of St. Wilfred's Institute of Pharmacy is expected to follow with sincerity and discipline.

I

Admission

  • The admission that may be granted to the students will be provisional subject to approval of the Directorate of Technical Education, M.S. Mumbai.
  • If any of the statement made in application form or any information supplied by the candidate in connection with his/her admission is, at any time found to be false or incorrect, his/her admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited and he/she may be expelled from the institute by the principal and prosecuted by Government, if deemed necessary.
  • An appeal against the order of expulsion, however, may be preferred within eight days from the date of letter of expulsion to the Director of Technical Education whose decision in such cases will be final.
  • The Backward Class students shall produce all caste related certificate from competent authority, wherever necessary.

Discipline

1

General Discipline

  • Students must maintain discipline and decorum within the college, and hostel premises.
  • Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in classrooms, laboratories, library.
  • Students must carry their identity cards at all times and present them when asked by college authorities.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offense under law.
  • Any act of misconduct, disobedience, or indiscipline will lead to disciplinary action.

Attendance and Punctuality

  • Minimum 80% attendance in both theory and practical classes is mandatory to appear for university examinations.
  • Students must be punctual and regular in attending lectures, tutorials, practicals.
  • Leave of absence must be submitted in writing and approved by the Principal/HOD.

Academic Conduct

  • Students must actively participate in academic activities like seminars, workshops, group discussions.
  • Cheating or malpractice during examinations will result in strict disciplinary action.
  • Assignments and records must be submitted on or before the due date.

Dress Code

  • Students must wear Dress code on daily basis.
  • Lab coats or aprons must be worn during practical and clinical sessions.
  • Identity cards must be worn visibly while on campus.
  • Respect and proper behavior towards staff, and faculty is expected at all times.

Library Rules

  • Maintain silence in the library.
  • Books should be handled carefully and returned on time.
  • Library resources are for academic use only.

Hostel Rules

  • Entry and exit timings must be strictly followed.
  • Visitors are allowed only during designated hours with prior permission.
  • Any form of substance abuse is strictly prohibited.

Use of College Property

  • Damage to college property will be treated as a serious offense.
  • Students must keep classrooms, laboratories, and surroundings clean and tidy.

Anti-Ragging Policy

  • Ragging is banned as per UGC and NCH norms.
  • Any complaint related to ragging should be reported immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee.

Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to uphold the dignity and values of the Pharmacy profession.
  • Mutual respect, integrity, and professionalism must be practiced at all times.
IV

Examination

No student will be allowed to appear for the annual Examination unless:
  • He/she have paid all dues.
  • He/she have completed all the practical record book duly checked and certified by the concerned.
  • He/she have requisite percentage of attendance.
  • He/she has submitted the clearance certificate.
  • The attendance for all sessional of theory & practical conducted by the college is compulsory.
